Total Laryngopharynectomy and reconstruction of pharynx with Jejunum microvascular flap

 

Total Laryngopharynectomy and left radical neck dissection done. Forceps holding the cut end of the pharynx.

 

 

A small segment of intestine (Jejunum) is used to reconstruct the pharynx. Blood vessels of the jejunum were anastamosed to the blood vessels of the neck.
